Deep Six Records#204
http://willowtip.bandcamp.com/album/condemned-to-the-system
Los Angeles' Nausea, spearheaded by guitarist / vocalist Oscar Garcia, along with their sister band, Terrorizer (which also featured Garcia) helped define the Grindcore genre in the late 1980s. Now Garcia, along with long-time partner in crime Eric Castro (Majesty) have been joined by two new members: Bassist Alejandro CB (Pounder, Chemical Bitches) and guitarist Leon del Muerte (Murder Construct, ex-Exhumed, Phobia, Impaled, Intronaut) to unleash a ferocious new full-length album via Deep Six LP Willowtip Records on CD: “Condemned To The System”. The album was recorded by Sean Vahle, (DIS, Phobia, Exhumed, Murder Construct, Intronaut) and mixed/mastered by Alejandro Corredor (Inquisition, Exhumed, Enslaved). The new album will feature a slew of new grinders like “…And We Suffer” and “Hate and Deception”, alongside vintage and unreleased tracks like “Falsely Accused” and “Does God Need Help?”. The band has been very active in the live arena for the past 3 years, performing a
t the Maryland Death Fest, Power of the Riff Fest, shows alongside Repulsion, Nails, Nasum, and most recently a European Tour that included a headlining spot at Bloodshed Fest in Holland, Hell Inside Fest, and Dresden Metal Fest in Germany. Next year the band is scheduled to play Mexico and Europe again. SPECIAL PREORDER on color wax.

He is now a member of mega-selling Bush! Andy and Rob have reformed The Partisans with a new line up, and have played a number of gigs as well as releasing new material.

Mike Magrann - Vocals/Guitar, Kimm Gardener - Vocals/Guitar, Larry Kelley - Bass, Mike Burton - Drums
(Jack Debaun - Drums on "After The Lights Go Out" LP)

This American band were formed in Cerritos, California in 1980 by school friends Magrann and Gardener. They has already released the self-titled "CH3 EP" before their No Future releases were licenced from the U.S. label, Posh Boy Records - the album "I've Got A Gun" was basically a repackaged version of "Fear Of Life". They continued recording steadily throughout the early eighties (even experimenting with a 5-man line up), but only a brief European tour in 1994 reminded their fans that the band were still around. However, with the core members of Magrann and Gardener, Channel 3 returned to a four-piece band and released a powerful self titled LP in 2002.

Initial copies were all hand stamped as the label thought they would only sell 1000! Their debut album even hit the National charts! The band later became one of the most influential Punk bands of all time with numerous late 90's Punk bands covering their songs. Helen Hill - Vocals, Shaun Styles (Cess or Stylesy) - Vocals, Mark Cole (Coley) - Guitar, John Marchington (Matchi) - Bass, Anthony Hall (Ajax) - Drums

From New Mills, this was another of the good Punk/Oi! bands produced in the Stockport/Manchester area. The Violators used the stark imagery from the film "A Clockwork Orange" to great effect. Never really comfortable in the punk role they, nevertheless, produced some great songs and were much liked by Garry Bushell of 'Sounds' who gave them a lot of press. They split very soon after the release of their second single. Helen and Coley formed Taboo, but never issued any singles. The rest of the band continued briefly as The Violators, releasing a further single on No Future's sister label, Future Records. Styles and Marchington then formed "Ice The Falling Rain", releasing further material on Future Records. Please note that this is not the same band who released a single called "NY Ripper" in 1980.

This four piece band from Worcester were managed for a couple of years by No Future supremo Chris Berry. They released a single "Vendetta" in 1980 on their own record label, before featuring on "A Country Fit For Heroes". Their only single for No Future, "Dead Hero", was coincidently released a week before the Falklands War. A couple of music papers refused to print promotions for the single until a press release was issued explaining that the song was written about the First World War. It went on to sell 7,500 copies. A follow-up single entitled "Nobody Cares" was recorded for No Future, but the label folded before its release.

(Phil Gaul (Din) - Drums on "The Future Must Be Ours" track)

Hailing from Southport, Blitzkrieg were formed in 1979 but their progress was hindered by constant line up changes. They released just one EP for No Future, as well as appearing on "A Country Fit For Heroes". Phil left the band shortly after releasing their debut vinyl appearance on the "Country Fit For Heroes" EP. He was replaced by John, who in turn left in 1982, replaced by David Ellesmere (from The Insane) and the band released their "Animals In Lipstick" EP before splitting up shortly afterwards due to personality clashes. Riffone and Ellesmere reformed the band in 1987 and embarked upon a brief tour. They reformed again in 1990, releasing an LP "The Future Must Be Ours" for Retch Records in 1991, which includes remixed versions of their No Future release as well as some previously unreleased material.

A heavily Damned influenced band, The Screaming Dead came from Cheltenham and were Gothic through and through. Letters to the No Future label were always accompanied by intricate illustrations - the band's presentation was amazing and they certainly lived the part! They released three singles for No Future and two more afterwards before folding in 1987. A retrospective CD album entitled "Bring Out Yer Dead" was released in 1993, and they reformed to release another CD, entitled "Death Rides Out" in 2000, comprising some new versions of their old material as well as some new material. Tony later formed Inkubus Sukkubus, with whom he is still touring and recording.

Knægt ‎– S/t - demo tape

Haven't done tapes for many a year now, but have made an exception for this - superb stuff - have a listen

http://www.reverbnation.com/knaegt

Sometimes it is a great idea to toss all good ideas in the blender and press Play. These fine gentlemen are no spring chickens and have made sweet sweet music together for about a year but some of 'em have playing their flute since the 80's. So what does it sound like?

Well  maybe if Oxnard moved to Malmö for starters. Tomek's basslines are as sweet and twisted as ever and the twin guitars from Fredrik and Dejv are as precise & amazing as Stevens drums are sick. Filip obviously has anger issues and those lyrics are the proof. Fast melodic hardcore with great hints of RKL & Accüsed but delivered with much more ferocity. Take this chance and find out what the fuzz is about!
The tape is done in 275 copies and comes with a random Marvel-styled collectors card. All 5 members are depicted as the superheroes they are. You are all lucky that when you are walking those cold and dark streets they are watched by Kapten Polen, Linjemannen, Jäten från slätten, Döden från Södern & Dr. Långfinger. Only a dunce doesn't buy enough tapes to collect them all.

This classic split release has been years in the conceptual making. Long time friends Bastard Noise and Lack of Interest team for one of the most unforgettable split releases ever! The Bastard Noise side of the release was conceived and brought to fruition (after the unexpected departure of drummer Joel Connell in November of 2011) in just six months time. Aimee Artz and Eric Wood have teamed up with grind drummer extraordinaire Rich Hoak (Brutal Truth / Total Fucking Destruction) to create easily their most sinister skull session to date. This release is full of burning musical hooks, blazing drumming (Rich is a true skull on these sessions), "Four Steel Girders" soaked in nitroglycerin, sick electronics / keys and vocalist Artz' most powerful and convincing vocals ever. The Hoak Sessions, as they are aptly titled, are bound to pull in those seeking the ultimate in "skull power" and musical dexterity. The phenomenal Mitchell Luna (formerly of blitzing grind unit Maruta) makes a guest appearance and shares vocals with Artz on one track too! Again, produced by Michael Rozon (The Red List, A Culture of Monsters, and Skulldozer), The Hoak Sessions were created out of the endless passion that drives "the skull" and is dedicated to our amazing and loyal followers.

The Plague - X Tapes (1976 - 1981) - LP pink vinyl

RUBBISHLP/CD006 - The Plague - X Tapes (1976 - 1981)
14 track coloured vinyl LP - RUBBISHLP006 -
RELEASED: 23rd MAY 2005
Formed in 1976 in South London by 4 mates who were at a O’ Level College in Catford, The Plague have become one of the most talked about underground Punk acts of the time.
The band gigged extensively around the London area, building up a reputation as one of the best live acts on the Punk scene.  This was proven by the fact that they were given a residency at the infamous Roxy club, and went on to become the band that played there the most times, a feat in itself!!
The Plague released a single, the brilliant ‘In Love’ on the cult ‘Psycho’ label in 1978—the first pressing of 500 copies sold out quickly and the single was re-issued on the ‘Evolution’ label in a pressing of 6000 copies, which also sold like Punky hot cakes!  The band released a second single, but there is some mystery surrounding this as it was thought for many years to have been withdrawn.  The band deny this, but there is no explanation as to why this single is so rare.

This phenomenal LP gathers together the bands entire recorded output, even including their first ever recordings made in a front room of one of the band members parents house in 1976.  Featuring many previously unreleased tracks and coming in packaging that features tonnes of rare and unseen photos this is a release that you cannot afford to be without. And a special bonus for all you vinyl freaks out there, the very limited pressing of only 500 copies comes on special vinyl—you have to see it to believe it, but it is VERY PUNK ROCK!

If Cave State are the “breakout” band of 2013, then To The Point are “THE BAND” of 2013. Owning absolutely every release they’ve thrown at you since their conception, this compilation of songs can be downloaded for free at Chris Dodge’s (Slap a Ham godfather & To The Point vocalst caveman) blog.
This one contains various songs from all of their releases (including the split with Pick Your Side, one of the must listen records of the year in my opinion), sort of like a delicious hardcore appetizer platter before you sink your teeth into the vinyl (good luck finding it!). Every song this band creates is top notch. You know the story. TTP is sort of a “Lack of Interest 2.0″, but they’ve obliterated any misconceptions that this is going to be a formulaic cookie-cutter clone of a now legendary band. No, To The Point is it’s own monster & adds something desperately needed to hardcore: Spontaneity! You can never guess what they’re going to end up half way through any one of their songs. And then they do it. And no matter what path they choose the result is always something insanely pleasurable to hear at the end. Everyone in the band is literally “on point” when it comes to every aspect of the music. There are no weak links at all. But in my humble opinion, what separates this band from everyone else is the guitar playing. Things you would NEVER think to put in a hardcore song on top of a flawless foundation of bass and drums suddenly make complete sense. It’s meticulous, it always comes out of nowhere & it compliments everything else so perfectly that their sounds becomes instantly recognizable. The fact that they can achieve this all while never ignoring the basic fundamentals of fast music & what makes a great HC song truly great is a thing of beauty and harder than anyone is willing to admit. Being hardcore veterans, they have used their knowledge to basically transcend the genera without losing an ounce of the speed, brutality, wit or integrity that makes this type of music so pure and wonderful to begin with.
Dodgy Sounds -  GonzoKaraoke
Pick Your Side, a crushing hardcore band featuring Jeff Beckman(vocalist for Haymaker and guitarist for Left For Dead among other notable bands) and also featuring members of metal/grind stalwarts Fuck The Facts and The Endless Blockade. Furious hardcore with elements of several different styles being showcased throughout. There are faster straightforward hardcore/powerviolence songs that bring to mind the aforementioned singer's previous band Haymaker, a few more metallic/melodic songs with a crusty influence coming forward
