NEVER AGAIN who have long nurtured the underground Hiroshima scene have now released a long-awaited 7" single!!
This band creates vibrant pieces colored with the specific format in mind. Although NEVER AGAIN have been actively releasing new material for the past few years, it's been a while since a 7" release. NEVER AGAIN's essence is embedded in a spinal cord made of hardcore and punk, but their approaches to music flourish beyond a cage of bone. Throughout their career they have received support from many masses, but NEVER AGAIN's main message has never become a mere decoration. They speak straight from the heart. To those familiar with the mysterious stains and questionable aromas of punk history, the name Never Again is particularly apt for a punk act out of Hiroshima. In 1981, British punks Discharge released a track of the same name that consisted of little more than four haiku-like lines describing the aftermath of an atomic bombing — each followed by the brutally shouted words “Never, never, never again!!!”
Yet surprisingly the choice of names came entirely by accident.“We needed a name, and I happened to be wearing a Discharge hoodie with that album cover on it,” recalls Nishizaki, who was 16 at the time. “So I pointed to the words and read, ‘We’re called Never Again!’ I had no idea what it meant at the time.” It was only later, when showing an overseas punk band around the Peace Park, that one of its members explained the damning antinuclear message of the Discharge song.

THE TITS “Frenzy Endangered” reviews Over a year after the release of the shocking first album “Pleasure Patient”. I felt that the previous album was too much of a problem, so I needed more wisdom and courage to produce the next album. But ... is it a generation, or is it just the beginning? They can do that very easily. Lol The second album, "Frenzy Endangered", is a new problem work with a lot of next steps that far exceeds expectations! It is usual for THE TITS that the performances that are important for hardcore punk are fully demonstrated, and that it is true to THE TITS that they quarrel with listeners. The enthusiastic junkie voice squeezed from the bottom of the body intensely fuels the honest and smart music group, and contributes to the completion of the hardcore song where the violent style sweeps.
Furthermore, the rhythm corps with a sense that transcends his own average and the absolute noise guitar that should be called a quick touch are outstanding in this work. It's wonderful. With Showa & Kyushu as the keyword, is it the only person who remembers the flow of ADK ~ VIOLENT PARTY ~ Delusion of Harmful ~ SELFISH RECORDS ~! ? The first song in the Japanese hardcore classic, which closely connects the eerie howling opening, is stunned. In the 9th song on the B side, dear losts, the base line opens while the alarm sounds, and even a bold homage that fades out with an exciting foul technique is performed.
The excitement of the listener by exchanging all the recorded songs, groove and drive, may be a big gift from Kyosuke who never forgets to enjoy.
By the way, this work is a W release work by LP and CD, but it is a slightly troublesome work with completely different specifications such as track list, mixdown, work title and artwork. The former is a complete punk atmosphere that is convincing as a hardcore punk, but the latter is surprisingly betrayed in a good way by experimental and avant-garde attempts! By the way, the analog version comes with a 40-page booklet, so even hardcore enthusiasts can fully enjoy it visually . . When I listen to the work many times to contribute to the review, I have a savage and bonky myself who feels that this work is suitable for their period. Well, it wouldn't be a nuisance to get such a member. . . I want this hardcore punk band representing Tokyo, the big city, to rampage in this punk scene! The experience they have gained and the unknown possibilities from now on will change them greatly. A toast to THE TITS! !!

Niigata hardcore punk SOLPÄÄTOS, DISCOS PELIGROSOS released a CD as a complete version of the past sound source, and WAR CLOUD RECORDS released a cassette, but POGO77 Imamura couldn't stand it so much and this was still a 12-inch record. Should be left in the history of punk! And this work was offered to them, "I want to get 12 inches!" Of course, it's the same as the sound source collections released in the past. Yes, and I asked for a new recording source, and recorded it on the attached sono sheet. It's boring to have different formats with just the same sound source. The sound of SOLPÄÄTOS is pulled by a sharp bass, a crying guitar that slams the key points with a salty guitar tune, a fluttering RAW drum, and a slamming vocal pulls by force. I like the bands here, but LAMA, APPENDIX, POHJASAKKA, NUKKETEATTERI, KOHU-63, RATSIA ... It doesn't really affect the music. I like that. So-called, "SOLPÄÄTOS Clause" was affected. Well sprinting athletic meet hardcore punk. Includes A4 size 8-page booklet, sono sheet, and obi. Two new recordings on the sono sheet are perfect "SOLPÄÄTOS section"! !! Do you understand this sense of urgency, seriousness? Tears are coming! Old hardcore punk fan, perfect.

ROCKY & The SWEDEN, after the 7" released on August 8, 2019, which sold out completely on the same day, they have finally released a full album for the first time in 19 years. Their previous "TOTAL HARD CORE" and "GOD SAVE THE GREEN" albums are both counted as important works in the hardcore world, and are still often listed as favorites regardless of whether they are overseaor in Japan.

First of all, through the album, I'm in the middle of the “rockyness” you might expect. As a new element derived from it, the guitar work of new member KAZUKI SWEDEN should be noted. You will be shocked by the harmony that pops out in the “VOICE” head intro recorded in the second song. The ultimate edition of this masterpiece of apocalyptic heaviness! Originally released in 1989 as the band’s third album (considering the fact that Saw Throat is nothing else but a further stage in the legendary Sore Throat saga), and with a marked musical shift towards the more sinister sound of bands like The Swans, Saint Vitus, Amebix and Gore, “Indestroy” was envisaged as a one song concept LP with a lyrical emphasis placed on enviromental issues (3 decades BEFORE the current publicity seeking populism of mainstream popstars and media celebrities pretending to give a fuck about the planet). Improvised and recorded over a period of three weeks, the resulting album become not only the crown jewel in the band’s history, but the final nail in the coffin of them being an ongoing concern as the three core members concentrated on their own bands and all moved on.

However, the reception and cult status has grown over the years. And so, after digging through many old cassettes, the original rough mix instrumental version of the album was located featuring a different running order, and a heavier/more guitar orientated and less polished sound. As a historical artifact, this was the version vocalist Rich listened to while writing all the lyrics the night before he was due to record them. There are also some sound effects and small parts that never made it to the final version. Either way, as one of the last truely great recordings of the 80’s, this as now unheard version of the “Indestroy” album is for the first time made available to the public domain housed in a thick reverse board gatefold jacket with fully restored original artwork, extensive liner notes and a stunning 24 page full colored lyric and artwork booklet.
