Reissued after many, many years of not being available. Originally released on Slap A Ham Records. Deep Six made 500 of these. About 6 minutes shy of a million years after their formation the Southern Cal gods of thrash violence finally rip the entire universe a new one with their debut long player. It's about time guys. LACK OF INTEREST are the purest old school style thrash band embraced by the power violence scene. They are strongly reminiscent of early eighties hate core legends like NEGATIVE FX and NEGATIVE APPROACH. They have the same intensity, the same rawness, the same anger and the same classic vibe. "Trapped Inside" features newly recorded songs that span most of the band's career including their calling card "My Life" which is THE thrash anthem of the nineties. There are 24 tracks on this puppy and a good half of them run less than thirty seconds (only three of them break the one minute barrier) consequently this album kills with a speed and power not unlike being strapped into an electric chair. This is the band and this is the album that you can cram down the throat of the next jaded old fart who tries to tell you that "punk is dead". They have a strict policy against headlining shows. Bob(Deep Six,To The Point), the drummer, is the sole constant member. Mike is the original vocalist, but only performs with the band on occasion. Vocal duties nowadays are mostly handled by Rick. The current lineup includes Kevin from Fetus Eaters on guitar, Chris Dodge on bass, Rick (and sometimes Mike too) on vocals, and Bob behind the kit.

The Debut LP from Chicago's Weekend Nachos, and was easily one of 2007's best! It has a few similarities of the 7inch, but it stands in a league of its own. This album shows the bands' personal taste of music/hardcore they listen to as the obvious choices of influence on this record. Its somewhere between Infest, Think I Care, Cro Mags, Judge, Pentagram, Black Sabbath, Eyehategod and Youth of Today and they sure can bring on the mosh. Originally released on Cowabunga Records, Deep Six has decided to reissue Weekend Nachos first LP! The debut full length by the Northern Illinois powerhouse band. This continues from where both the Torture 7" and the split 7" with CBS left off, but its still got speed and its still crushing, but even more crushing than either of the first two 7" records and the band has incorporated more mid paced songs to the formula. Very brutal. Everyone knows this band by now.

Vengeance Of Karma started in late 2008 and has released several demos and guested on compilation records around the world. In the beginning it was more a crust band with fast, angry and more raw feeling over the band. Within time Vengeance Of Karma have been going more to an rhytmic and melodic hardcore with d-beat in the ground with some metal influences. The raw feeling is still there but with more atmosphere. Originally released via Caroline Records, and produced by Randy Burns (Megadeth, Kreator, Possessed), The Joke’s On You, is the band’s second full-length which saw wide acclaim from thrash, punk, metal and “skate rock” circles (members have been known to have shared a ramp with pros Christian Hosoi, Eric Dressen and Tony Alva). Drawing influence from a diverse range of artists including Black Sabbath, Black Flag, Jimi Hendrix, and early era Corrosion of Conformity, people often talk of ‘crossover’ genres but none quite do it as exceptionally well as Excel.
This reissue, remastered by Brad Boatright, includes the 12 tracks featured on the original CD edition. The closing track 'Blaze Some Hate' was not on the original album (it was released as a 12" single via Caroline) , it will appear on this LP reissue/remaster.
Excel is a now-defunct punk/metal fusion band from Venice, California. The band never achieved commercial success during their years of performing and recording, but they are considered to be one of the first crossover thrash bands to come out of Venice, along with their hometown heroes Suicidal Tendencies. They started in 1983 under the name Chaotic Noise and members at that time were Dan Clements (vocals), Adam Siegel (guitars), Rickey Palamino (bass) and Evan Warech (drums). In 1985, they changed their name to "Excel" and Palamino and Warech left the band since then. Their replacements were Shaun Ross and Greg Saenz.
After releasing two albums, Split Image in 1987 and The Joke's on You in 1989, Siegel joined Mike Muir's Infectious Grooves in 1991. However, during this time, Excel had already started working on new material for what would become their third and last album, but was put on hold several times, due to Siegel's tour schedule with Infectious Grooves. The album, titled Seeking Refuge, was not released until 1995. After that, Excel broke up.

The Jokes On You came out a full two years before Metallica's Black Album. Painstakingly and lovingly put together by the band and Southern Lord this is the ultimate archival release. Available on vinyl for the first time since its original release complete with the previously unreleased bonus track "Blaze Some Hate." The Debut LP from Chicago's Weekend Nachos, and was easily one of 2007's best! It has a few similarities of the 7inch, but it stands in a league of its own. Its somewhere between Infest, Think I Care, Cro Mags, Judge, Pentagram, Black Sabbath, Eyehategod and Youth of Today and they sure can bring on the mosh.

A Call for Consciousness is comprised of five deep, dual bass and drum hook-laden tracks again investigating the properties of bastardization through M.I.T.B.'s specific musical strategy and profound lyrical documentation. Originally released as a split 8" with Born Against, side two of this reissue features side one of the debut 7" Our Earth's Blood. Fully blown vocal/lyrical desecration concerning man's selfish and destructive acts/philosophies accompanied by Barnes' original ROARAFC "caveman electronics", this was one of the first sessions for Bastard Noise and it proved very early on that noise IS music and that The Skull is here to stay...

The mysterious noise rock combo known as Man Is the Bastard was a project put together by Eric Wood and Joel Connell after they had left hardcore outfit Pissed Happy Children. Dubbing the band "power violence," the sound was a brutal mix of complicated technical riffing and straight-up hardcore. Making things even more interesting were the member's interest in the burgeoning noise scene, something that affected their music greatly. The group lasted until 1997, when they mutually decided that if they continued they would no longer make quality music. The members still work together on projects, including Wood's Bastard Noise projects.

The Hated was an Annapolis, Maryland emo band from 1985 to 1990. The original members were Mike Bonner, Erik Fisher, Daniel Littleton, and Colin Meeder. The Hated are known as one of the earliest emo bands.

After an early start as a parody of some of the DC hardcore scene's more rockist tendencies, the band's music quickly became more serious, more musically complicated than that of many of their contemporaries and followers, including melodic basslines, vocal harmonies and guitar playing (and tunings) borrowed from folk music, and drumming often more reminiscent of Keith Moon of the Who than most punk and post-punk drumming. The lyrics were complicated as well, occasionally containing biblical allusions or phrases in French and German.
