Taking influence from the darker side of hardcore such as Integrity, Cursed and Rise & Fall, the Lonewolves sound is armed with an air of aggressive prog/doom, that crusades through such battlefields as hardcore, metal and post hardcore. Strong, Heavy, Abusive.
With adjustments in line-up, sound and style, Lonewolves released thier first EP, Carcaroth, on UK label Thirty Days Of Night Records in 2009. Again a reshuffle in line-up towards the end of 2009 breathed new life into the band. A new EP, A True Discourse was released June 2010 .

But nearly 30 years later, punk collectors find little humor in their pursuit of the elusive "I Dont Wanna Be A Preppy" single. Its initial small pressing size (200 copies) and abysmal survival rate (the number of known discs can be counted on two hands) made the Joe Hebert Band 45 ripe for an official reissue.

Reactors - Seduction Center b/w I Want Sex - Last Laugh Records, the same label who brought you original copies of the Matchheads single in new sleeves, has pressed up their first reissue single. This Reactors single is a Killed By Death classic and this reissue has been deemed a better issue than the original, which was pressed in a ridiculously limited edition of 100 copies back in 1979. A good chunk of those were destroyed in a flood, which makes this one of the rarest American punk singles ever. 500 of the reissue were pressed. Originals have sold for over $1000, £5.99 is a drop in the bucket in comparison. No brainer. Recommended.

Legit repress of the single that (probably) best epitomizes the whole KBD genre. First time on 45 since '78 (not counting its inclusion on bootleg comps), from the original masters on new label Last Laugh records, totally cult California Killed By Death punk, one of the holy grail 7"s for many KBD punk collectors lovingly re issued.

FREESTONE were LA hippies who were actually mocking the then-early (197 punk sound on their incredible retard classic "Bummer Bitch". With some intrepid detective work, I've found this explanation from Freestone member Billy DeMoya, who confirms that it was indeed meant to be "taking the piss", and yet for so many of us this is a high water mark for berzerk, revved-up dumb rock. A total happy accident. It not only kicked off the second "Killed By Death" LP upon that comp's release in 1989 (and made me a fan for life upon the first opening bashed chords & tinkly piano), but it's now one of the most collectable punk 45s around. It literally defines KBD, along with a few other heavy hitters like the NERVOUS EATERS' classy "Just Head" and THE EAT's "Communist Radio". Freestone just happened to get lucky once, for two minutes flat, and created a monolith of foul, tasteless punk rock lunacy.

CROW - "THE BEATING OF THE WINGS OF DESTRUCTION" 12" Picture Disc Pure savagery! A five song 12" EP that fires a punishing volley of metallic riffs, explosive drumming and gravel-raked vocals, Tokyo's long running hardcore band CROW alternate between a long One track A-side of thundering dirge and a B-side of four tracks of unleashed, non stop hardcore fury. Issued in Japan in 2008 on CROW's own Crow records label, this received miniscule distribution stateside and has absolutely Burly cut'n'paste cover art by Crow's Vocalist, so was re-issued as a deluxe 12" picture disc for their recent U.S. Shows and appearance at Austin, Texas's "CHAOS IN TEJAS" festival. One time pressing from the original DMM master plates, limited to 800 copies.

The end result are songs that work on several levels at once, manifesting themselves both as "thinking man's hardcore" and circle pit instigating ragers at the same time.
